Meet The Candidate

Wanda Love is a 30-year Gardena resident and President of the Gardena Valley Chamber of Commerce. She’s been a successful small business owner for more than 25 years and is skilled at bringing people together to get things done. 

City Of Gardena (History)

The History of a Diverse Community. The early beginnings of Gardena as a community of homes, apart from the great rancho estates of the Dominguez, Amestoy, Ducazau, and Rosecrans families, date back to the 1880s.

Business improve the quality of life

It offers high-quality goods and services that people demand for their enjoyment, convenience, and health. A non-existent economic development department for a city the size of Gardena is shocking. My experience as the President of the Gardena Chamber of Commerce and the empty void of business development in the city of Gardena is what pushed me to run for the position of City Council. When elected, I will use my 16 years of experience as the CEO to ensure the city create balanced development between residential and commercial to create new jobs and great opportunities for our residents. It is important to me that we build a sustainable economy that will thrive and prosper in the future for our next generation.
